A Real Welsh Classic - The Traditional High Street Café
Café De Galles
Catch up on all the latest gossip in the town whenever you pop in. Julie and her team have long provided a real home-from-home feel, traditional café experience, located just outside St Giles' Church on Church Street. Some say they have the best views in town.
Offering freshly prepared dishes, always cooked to order and well established now for nearly 20 years. And - unofficially By Royal Appointment - when King Charles recently visited Wrexham, Julie and her team stepped up to the call of duty to feed and refresh the official Royal Driver. Under no pressure at all and served whilst parked up outside, they delivered just in time before he then whisked the King off to meet our other local royalty who just happen to own Wrexham AFC, located just up the road.

Bank Street
Social
Family run real coffee
Phil runs Bank Street Social - an espresso sized coffee shop serving drinks with powerful flavours based down what is claimed to be the oldest established shopping street in Wrexham. Phil is also the brother of Andy who runs Rough Hands just around the corner. Between them they aim to be the showcase alternative independent places to get refreshed whilst you are out and about in town.

Toast café and deli in Charles Street is a thriving bustling place and is another one of Wrexham's hidden gems. Established for over 3 years and a winner of Good Food Award 2024/25 this is now one of Wrexham's firm favourites.
Their cakes are always a special treat along with their wide range of traditional cooked-from-fresh brunches and lunches.
Always something to look forward to whenever in town, Toast's cozy atmosphere prepares you for some delicious foods and refreshments once you settle down.
Watch the world go by through their beautiful window and enjoy the buzz of the place. Take some time out during your visit to Wrexham and let Erin, Jem and the rest of the team offer you a warm welcome and a generous plate of tasty delights whenever you pop in.
