Purpose
Laura Evison has created "Calon y Bannau" (Heart of the Beacon) in memory of her partner, Mick Smith, inspired by his favourite view from Pen y Fan.
Mick sadly took his own life in February 2021 after living with PTSD and mental health challenges. Walking in the Brecon Beacons, particularly around Pen y Fan, brought him comfort and was his safe, happy place - his forever home.
Laura is raising funds for SSAFA and Brecon Mountain Rescue by offering the chance to win a limited first edition A3 framed print, worth £80.
Entries cost £2, with all proceeds going to the charities.
To enter, donate via Laura's JustGiving page, using the button link on this page, then email a screenshot of your donation to Laura using the email button also added to receive your ticket numbers.
The winner will be drawn on 27 September 2026.
