Feel Good, Do Good, For Good.
Choirs
For
Good
Choirs for Good is a not-for-profit social enterprise and network of community wellbeing choirs across Wales and South West England, founded in 2020 by a group of five choir leaders (including co-founder Iori Haugen) to make community singing sustainable, inclusive, and impactful.

The positive impact they have on our local community
Helping promote the value and importance of
community choirs
We saw Choirs For Good perform one lunchtime over in Eagles Meadow, Wrexham in August 2026. The Wrexham branch, led by choir leader Izzy Rodrigues, meets weekly at Plas Pentwyn Community Centre and is known for its energetic fundraising concerts and community engagement. Choirs for Good will be performing again at FOCUS Wales 2027.

Feel
Good
They provide a welcoming, non-audition environment where singing improves mental and physical health, reduces loneliness, and builds friendships.

Do
Good
The choirs actively fundraise for local and national causes, selecting a "Charity of the Year" (recently supporting Alzheimer's Society, Tŷ Hafan, and Tŷ Gobaith) and raising over £36,000 to date.

For
Good
As a social business, they reinvest profits to ensure long-term sustainability, aiming to place choirs at the heart of communities as a permanent resource for social connection and lifelong learning.
