Welcome to the beautiful escape from the norm that is Levant, located on the first floor in Chester Street. With direct street level access, the scale of the restaurant dawns on as you turn the landing, leading to a long bar and large main dining area that then opens out onto an airy and welcoming balcony. The balcony overlooks a new major street art addition to Wrexham’s skyline, and something to tick off if you are on the Art trail in town.
The setting is designed so you can walk in and forget about the world and just enjoy everything they have on offer.
Levant was founded by Hannah Grew nearly 8 years ago. Hannah first settled in Wrexham around 15 years ago and says the secret to her success has been remaining consistent through hard work, believing in yourself and being supported by a trusted and loyal team.
Chef ‘Malty’ has been here since the very beginning and promoted to Head Chef meaning the team spirit is so firmly established you can be confident everyone really cares and does their very best. It all means that you will return.
Offering two course lunch specials with trusted best sellers such as bruschetta and roast garlic hummus for starters, with mains including generous spicy chicken wraps with salsa and fresh salad dressings they have a steady daily lunchtime trade.
Evening meals step up in sophistication but to ensure groups are still relaxed and well catered for they offer specials such as fresh sea bass and famous hanging kebabs alongside the more traditional favourites such as fresh gourmet burgers, meaning everyone goes home happy.
Hannah emphasises that their portions are both generous and their ingredients used are always the freshest possible, and with something for everyone. They want their customers to leave feeling fully satisfied and with great specials they will then come back time and time again knowing that their meals are also great value.
With private dining available for special functions such as weddings, parties and anniversaries the venue lends itself to a number of different themed events.
This includes their popular Jazz evenings every month on a Sunday evening, with live music, classical singers and also ticketed black tie charity evenings as well – meaning the venue constantly can reinvent itself for a whole range of different events and customers.
