Vicky Heathfield owns and has successfully run her business, EssentialsMAG, for nine years from her base in Gresford, located just north of Wrexham. We have known each other for several years and were previous customers of her beautifully presented and critically acclaimed Vox quarterly business publication.

The core of her business today revolves around the EssentialsMAG platform, which offers services such as advertorials, commissions, and support for local businesses and councillors providing a regular monthly community magazine, in print and delivered by hand.
Owning full design, copy, printing, production, and distribution efforts all in house, the publication reaches around 15,500 readers across both North and South Wrexham each month and has built an extremely popular and trusted reputation within the professional circles that operate across the region. Vicky can often be spotted in and around Wrexham driving her branded van distributing magazines with the help of her paid taskforce of some fifty young people, but though due to legal restrictions, only those aged 13 and above can participate.

Vicky has recently contributed stories on impactful community initiatives, including one about a choir supporting individuals with cancer and another highlighting a girls’ rugby team funding needs. She also has covered other community campaigns such as supporting Rossett Cricket Club to name some of the most recent stories.
