This is a brand new business venture launched in Wrexham, offering adventures across some of the UK’s most breathtaking landscapes. Join Stephanie Harding (SJ) or Stef as she prefers to be known, an aspiring Mountain Leader specialising in women-only outdoor experiences, as she shares her journey from solo campervan explorer to qualified outdoor professional.
Connections
We first met Stef last year at Connect Wrexham - which meets regularly at Hotel Wrexham - when she was fundraising full-time for Vision Support, an important local charity. We then featured their work and supported her together here on Visit Wrexham, helping raise valuable funds for a good cause.
The Signs
After completing Mountain Leader training back in 2025, Stef knew she wanted to build a business around her passion interest outside of work.
Stef’s new business is dedicated to creating safe, empowering spaces for women to connect with nature and each other. Inspired by personal experiences hiking solo and attending women-only walks in the Peak District and Snowdonia,
Stef saw the market and gap locally here in Wrexham and North Wales and now offers guided group walks designed to build confidence, foster community, and inspire independence in the great outdoors.

Stef is very passionate and wants others to discover the beauty of the outdoors, feel empowered in wild spaces, and embrace the freedom that nature provides—all within a welcoming, women-focused community.
