Café
Step into a true local institution just off Church Street, where Julie and her team have mastered the art of making every visitor feel right at home. Nestled right outside St Giles' Church, this traditional café is the perfect spot to sink into a cozy corner, catch up on the latest news and things going on, and enjoy what many swear are the finest views in the area. Whether you're a regular or just passing through, it’s more than a café; it’s a warm embrace with a cuppa and a bite to eat.
Offering freshly prepared dishes, always cooked to order and well established now for nearly 30 years. While they serve a classic all-day breakfast, the café is particularly renowned for its homemade soups, apple pie, and freshly baked cakes, which are frequently praised for their quality and value.
The café has maintained a strong reputation over the years, often ranking high in local dining guides and earning consistent praise on travel platforms for its friendly staff and "top notch" food, and promotes art created by local and talented artists.
And - unofficially By Royal Appointment - when King Charles recently visited Wrexham, Julie and her team stepped up to the call of duty to feed and refresh the official Royal Driver. Under no pressure at all and served whilst parked up outside, they delivered just in time before he then whisked the King off to meet our other local royalty who just happen to own Wrexham AFC, located just up the road.
Pop in and grab a seat, enjoy real food and watch the world go by.
