Heroes
Every year Wrexham comes to life with over 25,000 attendees descending into town for a weekend of world class music and film performances. None of it would be possible though without the highly organised FOCUS Wales team, crew and their army of volunteers and trusted partners. We caught up with some over the weekend.

Focus Desk Welcome Team - Hannan and Lily
Lily said "This weekend we’ve helped guide delegates on where to go, and supporting those who haven’t been here before. And we've been networking with the bands. It has been an honour to be asked to be a volunteer."
Hannan added "I grew up close in a village near Wrexham surrounded by music and it's so lovely to now be a part of it."

The Fat Boar Hospitality Team
Paris manages the Fat Boar teams based across different venues in Wrexham who tirelessly cooked fantastic meals - themed from around the world, served drinks and have fed thousands of meals to delegates, band performers, crews and volunteers - helping them all keep going through the long days and nights.

Llwyn Isaf Bar Staff
Andre from Wrexham was hugely welcoming with looking after thirsty revellers with drinks in the busy Llwyn Isaf tent and is part of the vast team of bar staff dotted across town.
Saying "I love it - I did it 3 years ago and jumped at the chance of doing it again, it's a great vibe and festival'

Professional Photography & Video, and Socials
Husband and wife team Steve and Sophie Davies told us it was their 14th Focus Wales and Izzie Rothwell was supporting them for her first.
They said "We look after capturing all the content from the performances for the round up videos and embedded clips for socials. We all love the electricity of FOCUS"

Wrecsam 2029 Culture Bid
We've known Morgan Thomas for a while who is Culture Bid Co-ordinator for the Wrecsam 2029 UK City of Culture bid team, who support and partner with FOCUS Wales. We bumped into each other after the Baby Brave gig and Morgan's partner Beth tells us that Steve Nichols, lead guitarist of Baby Brave, is also her brother in law!

Building The Big Tent
James from nearby Gwersyllt told us "It takes a lot of hard work to build a structure like this. We all work really hard and try to improve on it year after year. It's my 11th year of doing this with the FOCUS Wales team and I first started when I was about 15, it's been a lot of fun."
